Stained Glass Peony panel w/wirework and iridescent flowers

This beautiful copper-foiled stained glass panel was handmade by Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland, OR studio.

This piece is designed in an art Nouveau style, asymmetrical yet balanced in an unusually shaped frame.  THe peonies have an iridescent sheen on pink glass, which is one of the more expensive types of stained glass due to the gold added to the sheet glass to make the pink color.

Additional wirework details have been added.

Hangs from two points near the top and sides with a matching black chain.

Measures about 24" tall, 12" wide and hangs from the top of the chain to the bottom; about 32" in total height.

60/40 lead/tin solder was used.

Lead is not dangerous to have in your home in an art-piece like this unless sanded or causing lead-dust to be airborne and inhaled or somehow ingested. However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands well after cleaning or handling the piece.
