Shrunken Head Beetlejuice Stained Glass Suncatcher, glow eyes
 
This fantastic one-of-a-kind stained glass piece was made by a local artist, Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland-based home studio.
This piece pays homage to one of the greatest spooky-fun movies of all time, Beetlejuice!  It is handpainted and made in stained glass, tilizing 18 cut pieces including a haunting set of bulging eyeballs.
Measures about 8" across and 6" tall and hangs at one top anchor point at the ponytail from a black chain. 
The solder lines on this piece have been given a black patina, and are waxed for a protective, shiny surface. 60/40 lead/tin solder was used and the border is lead came.
Lead is not dangerous to have in your home in an art-piece like this unless sanded or causing lead-dust to be airborne and inhaled or somehow ingested. However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands well after cleaning or handling the piece.
