Sacred Heart Stained Glass Panel
 
This beautiful copper-foiled stained glass piece was handmade by Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland, OR studio.
This piece was made with a variety of types and colors of stained glass, pink water glass for the heart, deep reds for the flames and pale blues for the background.
 
A variety of refraction effects when placed in bright direct light, and the glass eye glows beautifully. The eye and bleeding cut feature handpainted details utilizing a permanent fired glass paint.
 
The piece measures about 11.5” wide and 14" tall. With the chain, it's about 20 inches from the top of the chain to the bottom of the piece.
 
60/40 lead/tin solder was used, thus special care is suggested when cleaning/handling suncatchers containing lead. Lead is only dangerous when inhaling lead dust or ingesting significant quantities over time. There is no health threat to owning a stained glass window containing lead.
All pieces are carefully wrapped to prevent breakage during domestic shipping.
