This beautiful copper-foiled stained glass mooncatcher was handmade by Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland, OR studio.
The stars are handpainted with Pebeo Vitrea permanent glass paint, and are constructed using a solid lead came edge soldered onto copper foil tape underneath came for extra sturdiness, thus the edge will not pull away over time.
Offered with the additional crystal prism dangle option. Standard gem is a round 30MM ball + baby gem.
Two other upgrade options are:
- diamond-prism briolette, 
- faceted scallop-edged AB teardrop and
- faceted flat AB teardrop.

Hangs from the top with a delicate black jewelry chain. These gems spread sparkly rainbows around the room when in direct light.
Measures about 1.5" wide, 6" tall and hangs from the top of the chain to the bottom; about 12" in total.
60/40 lead/tin solder was used and the border is lead came.
Lead is not dangerous to have in your home in an art-piece like this unless sanded, causing lead-dust to be airborne and inhaled or somehow ingested. However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands well after cleaning or handling the piece.
